For all Twilight lovers!!!!

Really, normally I wouldnt buy a graphic novel but this is awesome! With love for detail is this a must have for all the twilight obsessed out there. Cant wait for the full version.

Just balancing

the 1 rating by the person who gave it a 1 because it doesnt work on his or her device. Why are you rating an app that you dont have and which is not even meant for you?

Its great!!!!

I was able to down load it even though I have an iphone. They tell the story nicely the pictures are incredible!!!!!

Beautiful

The images are beautifully drawn, and its free, so its a win-win! :-) Thank you so much for listening to my suggestion and making it compatible with all devices!!! Your 5 stars are very well deserved!!! :-D

Crappy much

I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A HOLE BOOK!!!! THIS IS TOTALLY A RIP OFF AND A WASTE OF TIME!!I MIGHT AS WELL GO TO THE STORE SND ACTUALLY BUY IT!SO FREAKING MAD!!!

Brilliant

I expected a whole book, but the illustrations are very good, and it tells the story very well.

Beautiful book

This book was amazing, I loved it.!!!

Not bad

The characters are actually better looking here then they are in the movie... Everything was just a little too rushed. I know this is a graphic novel, but still, I felt somethings could have been explained more or drawn out. Im a huge graphic novel fan so I know that detail in the art is everything. So far so good, though. I had no issues what so ever viewing this on my ipad and recommend it to those who are graphic novel and twilight fans.

So great!

I love this app. Its perfect for Twilight fan.

Um.......er..........

I would be able to rate this if there was an iPod version.

i would

im a huge twilight fan and wish they had this for ipod touch! then i would rate it 5 stars!

Nice

It would be nice to get the whole thing than just a little taste. Really enjoyed this app.

Twilight Lite200

How come they didnt give me the whole book. But it was good. The drawings are really good. I keep looking for the whole book. I wish I had the whole book. Its so good I read it three time and also showed my friends, they thought the pics look very good. They are definitely right! All twilight fans will like this app.

Good, but over priced...

I realize this isnt the full version "app" book, but the "lite" version. None-the-less, I bought the hardback book when it was first released, and I didnt pay anything near $19.99 for it. I paid $12.99, and it wasnt on sale anything. The comic book store had it priced at $12.99. I think the suggested retail price was $19.99, but I have to say... Its not worth $19.99. Even the digitized version for your iPad/iPhone is worth $19.99! To start off with, its not the whole book, but just part 1 of a planned series of 3 or 4 books in all to represent the first book Twilight. If the publisher is expecting all the fans out there to fork over $20 every time they finally release a part of the series for a single book in whatever medium (or multiple mediums as many of us do tend to do), then Im afraid they are going to be in for a massive let down and disappointment. To price a multi book series for a single novel more than the original novel, is asking too much. In reviewing the art and etc., the art is actually pretty good... though very bland as it is entirely in black & white. It would have been significantly better had it been presented in full color rather than just b&w. The story-line follows the novel fairly well, but it is an adaptation, just like the movie. Fans of the Twilight series will certainly enjoy reading the graphic novel version, especially younger kids, but adults will get equal enjoyment out of it. Just be fore warned that its all in b&w and it isnt verbatim to the novel. Its difficult enough condensing a well done graphic novel of a full popular novel down to size without it being too heavy or cost prohibitive to publish, but come on... Even the other publishing houses are asking less for their digitized versions of their published hard copy comics and graphic novels. Asking $20 for a printed version is one thing, but another digitized...

Great! But but but.. [updated]

Update: Now that theres a full version available to go along with this lite version, my only quibble is rescinded. Great job, Hachette! Original review: The graphic novel itself is well done; I really like the character designs. The e-comic interface is actually quite nice, which I didnt expect. Rotation is cool, where you get a seamless 2-page spread in landscape orientation, and single pages in portrait. Very pretty. And then I get to the last page and instead of a link to the App Store its like, "Did you enjoy it? Then travel back in time to the 20th century and buy it in a bookstore somewhere!" Wait, what? Youre not going to sell me the full thing as an app? I have to go buy some paper book where the inner edges of the 2-page spreads get all buried in the binding? Having seen this much of it on the iPads beautiful screen, I want the rest of it there too. So close! Hachette almost got it right! Just sell me an app of the full thing, and well be all set.
